VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City residents are being asked to limit their water usage until further notice to help take pressure off the city’s master lift station.

Valley City officials are asking residents to discharge their sump pump water outside their homes, please place your sump pump hose outside your homes during this flooding event.

On Saturday, May 14th, the Sheyenne River in Valley City was over 16 feet. The flood warning will remain in effect until the river level drops below 16 feet in Valley City.
