Crosby was forced to miss Game 6 with an undisclosed upper-body injury, but it was rumored to be a concussion.

The Penguins lost Game 6 in large part due to missing the dominant play from their captain.

Crosby skated well before the practice leading into Friday's Game 6, as well.

Another big reason for the loss on Friday was the inability to get a couple of key saves in net.

The shine has worn off of Louis Domingue and the Pens are in dire need of Tristan Jarry to return to the ice.

While the Saturday morning practice was optional and limited, it is still an encouraging sign that both Jarry and Crosby are taking the ice.

Jarry and Crosby were also joined by Rickard Rakell at the optional skate.

It's rare for an optional practice to feature something that resemble line rushes, but those are being featured Saturday.
