The seniors went back to their former elementary schools Friday, visiting former teachers and current students in what the district called the "Remembering My Roots" graduation walk.
A photo showed a precious high-five between an elementary student and a smiling senior.
"We are so proud of you, Class of 2022! You will walk across the big stage in less than one month!" the school district wrote.
In a post that's getting a lot of attention on Facebook, commenters complimented school leaders for the event, calling it "clever" and "wonderful."
