That’s quite the hiatus. As talented as some wrestlers can be, there does come a time when they could use some time off of television. It might be due to overexposure or just needing to come up with a fresh presentation. Sometimes that time away can do some good and that might be the case again with a WWE star. It just might be a big longer than expected before she is back.

Last weekend at Wrestlemania Backlash, Ronda Rousey defeated Charlotte to win the SmackDown Women’s Title. Rousey won the match with an armbar, which resulted in Charlotte’s arm being broken, which will put her on the shelf. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Charlotte will be out of action for months before she comes back in the summer to get revenge on Rousey. It is not clear how long exactly she will be out.

Opinion: As great as Charlotte is, it might be better to have her away from WWE for a little while. Part of the problem with pushing someone as hard as WWE pushes Charlotte is that there is very little left for her to do. Charlotte has lapped the field when it comes to number of championship reigns, so maybe the time away will let WWE come up with something a little more interesting for her.

What do you think of Charlotte? What should she do when she gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
