Ellie Warner was back on Gogglebox tonight (May 13) along with her sister Izzi following her boyfriend Nat's hospitalisation.

Ellie had previously taken a break from filming after Nat had sustained serious injuries during an accident in Leeds.

But tonight, the sisters were back on our screens with their wits gathered and ready for some quality commentary on this week's chosen episodes.

Fans also got an update on Nat, who got on the phone with Ellie during the episode's first moments, sounding great and delivering a hilarious moment for the couple.

Referencing a conversation the duo had had earlier that day, Ellie asked him what he thought a "shotgun marriage" meant.

"You're forced to get married," he responded, causing the girls to erupt in laughter.

Following his explanation that the marriage happened because the girl usually got pregnant, Ellie cheekily asked if that was what he had in store for her.

"No!" Nat could be heard exclaiming over the phone.

"Why?"

"No," he simply repeated.

The sisters also had another funny moment of their own recalling memories of their time as 15 and 16-year-olds when an episode referenced a kid having to be back home by 10pm.

Asking Izzi how mum had handled them going out at night, she got an interesting response back.

"She was too busy pissed herself," Izzi responded, earning a laugh from her sister.

But while the duo seemed happy to be back on the BAFTA-winning show, hanging out and commenting on Made in Chelsea's latest episode, it was the fans who got the most joy out of seeing them again on screen.

"Pretty sure hearing Nat on the phone with Ellie is gonna be the best bit of #Gogglebox tonight. Great to know he's recovering," wrote one viewer on Twitter.

Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
