A Texas woman is facing, no pun intended, a huge, embarrassing disaster. Crystal Weinstock of Richmond got the shock of her life after walking out of Kai Brow Bar in Houston.

MICROBLADING GONE HORRIBLY WRONG

Weinstock went in for a microblading session, which consists of an artist tattooing realistic natural-looking eyebrows over the natural eye hair in an area. However, Weinstock got something that looks like it came out of a comic book.

“I knew it looked bad, I just didn’t know how bad.”

PLASTERED TO HER FACE

She shared photos of the horrific outcome that could make a woman sick to the stomach knowing she paid for that service and now has to walk around with that ink plastered to her face.

OBVIOUS SIGNS OF INEXPERIENCE

The eyebrows show obvious signs of inexperience. Not only did Weinstock mention the technician only had a year of experience, but she also claimed the technician, who is actually a family member, is wanting to teach others how to microblade-yikes!

After posting her experience online she got massive amounts of feedback, some insulting, some empathetic, and some straight up cruel. Luckily, many people reach out wanting to help.

MEET THE FAIRY GODMOTHER

What one might consider a fairy godmother, Erica Kovitz, a permanent makeup artist in Beverly Hills, reach out and offered her services free of charge. Weinstock hopped on a plane and took Kovitz and her team up on their offer.

“They were just so kind, so loving about everything,” Weinstock says of Kovitz and her team in Beverly Hills. “

NOWHERE NEAR FINISHED

After completing one session, Weinstock is nowhere near finished.“It’s all a waiting game,” she says after completing the first session of many. “They need to see the treatment’s results to then see the next step.”
