Broadwater Academy senior Bradyn Washington signed his commitment to play basketball at Virginia Wesleyan University on Monday, May 2.

The 6-foot-2 guard helped lead the Vikings to a 20-8 record this year with a strong run in the playoffs. Washington averaged 16 points per game in his senior season with 2.9 assists and 3.1 rebounds. Against Nandua, Washington recorded an impressive game-high of 31 points.

Washington also competed on a local AAU travel team, Eastern Shore Playaz, where he traveled across the East Coast to showcase his talents. Washington’s hard work and dedication to the game paid off as he will compete at the next level for Virginia Wesleyan in the 2022-23 season.
