NODAWAY COUNTY —A St. Joseph man was injured in an accident just before 5a.m. Friday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 International Harvester semi driven by Billy D. Blizzard, 50, St. Joseph, was northbound on U.S. 71 one and one half miles north of Wilcox.
The vehicle traveled off the easts side of the rain covered road. The truck returned to the road, crossed the center line, traveled off the west side of the road and came to rest on the drivers side facing east.
A private vehicle transported Bizzard to Urgent Care in St. Joseph. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
