Motorcyclist leads police on chase in Robins

ROBINS, Iowa (Iowa's News Now) —
A motorcyclist led Robins Police and Linn County Deputies on a high speed chase Thursday.

The motorcyclist, 22 year-old Blake Christensen of Center Point, was traveling north bound on N Center Point Road in Robins when a police officer attempted to stop him for no plates. Christensen sped off at a high rate continuing north. When he attempted to turn right on Cummings Ford Road, he lost control and crashed.
Christensen was transported to St. Lukes Hospital by Center Point Ambulance with non-lift threatening injuries and kept overnight.
