Multiple Arrests On Drug Trafficking Charges

Officials with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office have made a roundup of several suspected drug dealers in the area. Officers set out with 11 indictments on Wednesday and have now arrested seven people with two others in custody already.

 

The individuals arrested on Wednesday include:

 

48-year-old Kevin Blankenship, of Stopover, 34-year-old George Compton, of Pikeville, 38-year-old Nicholas Darnell, of Mouthcard, 51-year-old Brian Hurley, of Stopover, 51-year-old Dennis Justice, of Mouthcard, 50-year-old Mark Smith, of Phelps, and one Mr. Jamal Stoutmire.

 

Additionally charged in these indictments were Jeffrey Johnson, who is currently in custody at the Pike County Jail alongside Bradley Brown, who is being held in Tennessee.

 

All of those arrested are facing a charge of first-degree drug trafficking.
