An electric vehicle was taken from the hotel casino's parking lot around 1:30 a.m., said Lt. Michael Rodriguez with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
The owner tracked it to a charging station in Primm and Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol arrived.
Troopers took one woman into custody, but not before she crashed into another car while trying to get away, according to Rodriguez. That resulted in major damage to the victim's vehicle.
