Officials say the victim was identified as Britrain Marcelus Gray, 23, from Odenton, and was working at the restaurant at the time of the shooting.
Gray was transported to the OCME for an autopsy, where the cause and manner of death will be determined.
McDonalds sent a statement to FOX45, saying: “We are saddened by the senseless and tragic loss of our friend and colleague. Our thoughts are with the employee’s family and loved ones at this difficult time. We are in the process of offering our employees counseling and another support they may need and working with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation.”
This is a targeted incident and not a random act of violence, police say.
