JEFFERSON CITY — A 17-year-old Perryville youth suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on Route B in Cape Girardeau County Thursday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the boy was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
The patrol says the youth was the driver of a southbound 2011 Mazda 3 which ran off the roadway and overturned.
The patrol says the boy was unrestrained.
The crash happened about 7:19 a.m. four miles north of Oak Ridge.
The Mazda was a total loss.
