Motorcyclist dies after colliding with vehicle in McCook

McCOOK, Neb.-A McCook man has died after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in McCook.

According to police at around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police and fire were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West B. St. and Highway 83.

An investigation revealed a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Eugene Bailey, 28, was westbound on B. St. when it collided with a Ford F-150 driven by Solio Rodriguez, 52, of McCook.

Police said Rodriguez was traveling eastbound and attempted to turn north onto the Highway when the two vehicles collided.

Rodriguez and Bailey were both transported to McCook Community Hospital where Bailey was later pronounced dead.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing by McCook Police and the Nebraska State Patrol.
