YELM, Wash. - A Thurston County jury has found Michael Brower guilty of murdering his wife, Tuyen Dang Ngoc Brower, the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office says.
On May 20, 2020, Thurston County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a home in Yelm for a domestic dispute.
An investigation found that on that night, the couple's four children were woken up by their parents arguing. The oldest children went to go see what was going on and Michael Brower reportedly told the child to go back to her room at which point he shot and killed his wife Tuyen Brower.
Charges were filed against Michael Brower on May 21, 2020, and on May 3, 2022, a jury found him guilty of Second Degree Murder Domestic Violence While Armed with a Firearm, and While in Presence of a Child.
Sentencing for the case will be scheduled for August 2022.
