Oh man, to be recognized by my peers like this when I'm still on tour is really especially sweet that I don't have to retire and then they give me *** gold watch or something. So, you know, it's just being to be acknowledged for being an activist and *** leader of *** band and play and play an electric guitar and, you know, they like my music. So I it's been *** wonderful thing just to be part of the Grammy Association all this time. But I wasn't expecting to get this lifetime achievement award. So very sweet. No, I mean, I figured maybe in *** couple of decades or something that they wheeled me out, but I'm really happy to take it tonight.
