Plant sale by Master Gardeners

When: from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 14

Where: Special Events Building, Logan County Fairgrounds, Lincoln

Details: A variety of plants will be offered including prairie plants, houseplants, vegetables, and annuals. Early birds will get the best selection, but will not be admitted until 8 a.m.

A wide variety of plants will be available for purchase at the Master Gardeners plant sale.

Lincoln Clean up day for Lincoln residents only

When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 14

Where: the Municipal Building, 313 Limit St., Lincoln

Details: Acceptable materials include: small amounts of construction material, cardboard, paper and newspring, aluminum cans, plastic, metals and furniture.

Unaccepted materials are: hazardous waste, contaminated soils, asbestos, car and truck batteries, tree and brush cuttings, electronic waste including computers and televisions and appliances.

The Lincoln Memorial Hospital Market

When: 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 14

Where: at the Logan County Fairgrounds Expo Building in Lincoln

Details: Find fresh and locally produced fruit and vegetables. Free parking, free admission and free rides to The LMH Market.
