James Murray, age 89, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 1, 1932 to the late Henry and Meta (Brechtlesbauer) Murray in Saginaw, Michigan. He worked at Ryder as a diesel mechanic until his retirement. He met and married the love of his life, Betty Wolfgram, on August 9, 1958.
James is survived by his wife of 63 years, his children; Ann M (Paul) Walters, June A (Paul) Matzke, Susan J. (Shaun) Kelly, and Vicki J Murray, grandchildren; Nicole Hawkins, Kayla Matzke, Benjamin Matzke, Aaron Matzke, Pamela (Kelly) Henris, Joseph Kelly, great grandchildren; Jaxon Garrett, Abbigail Maratta, and James Maratta. He is predeceased by his sister Almeda Murray and his brother Eugene Murray.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at a date that has yet to be determined.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
