The School Board in Hartwell names a new Hart County School Superintendent: Jennifer Carter has worked as an associate superintendent for the schools in Hartwell. She will take over for the retiring Jay Floyd.
“I am thankful for the Board’s confidence in my abilities and for the opportunity to serve the community that has given so much to my family and me. I look forward to learning more about each Board of Education member and working together as a team to make decisions that are in the best interest of students and staff,” Carter said in a statement.
