A guided nature walk along the Bosque River Trail in Stephenville is being held on Saturday , May 14. The program also includes learning the basics of iNaturalist, an app that uses photos to identify native species. It searches a database to offer suggestions of species from your area.
Whoever can take a photo with an iphone is old enough to participate. iNaturalist is free to download on the App Store. Please come with iNaturalist already on your phone. You can also join the hike without using iNaturalist.
The hike will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Bosque River Nature Center, located where Long Street crosses the Bosque River. Parking available. Good walking shoes are encouraged. If weather is questionable, check our Prairie Oaks Master Naturalist Face book page.
