Another Griz basketball player enters transfer portal

MISSOULA, Mont. —
Another Montana Grizzlies men’s basketball player is entering the transfer portal. Montana junior Derrick Carter-Hollinger is the latest player from the program to enter the transfer portal.

Carter-Hollinger, who started over half of Montana’s games a season ago, averaged 6.4 points per game and 2.5 rebounds a game. He also shot the ball effectively, going 49.4% from the field and 44% from the 3-point line.
The San Diego native joins Kyle Owens (committed to UC Riverside), Cameron Parker (committed to Portland St.), Robby Beasley III (committed to UC Davis), Jack Wetzel and Freddie Brown III, both uncommitted.
The Griz finished with an 18-14 record and lost in the second round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament to Weber State, 68-58.
