(670 The Score) The Bears have claimed tight end Rysen John off waivers from the Giants.

John, 24, was a third-round pick in the Canadian Football League in 2020, but he instead signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent. John hasn't yet played in an NFL game after spending most of his first two seasons in the league on injured reserve.

The Bears on Wednesday waived tight end Jesper Horsted in a corresponding roster move. He was designated with a failed physical.

Horsted, 25, had two receptions last season, both for touchdowns.
