St. Clare Walker group excels at Technosphere Conference

On April 29 through May 1, seven St. Clare Walker Middle School (SCW) TSA members competed at the Virginia TSA Technosphere 2022 State Leadership Conference at the Hampton Convention Center.

The following St. Clare Walker Middle School students ranked in the top 10 and were recognized at the Technosphere awards ceremony:

  • Garrett Benedict.
  • Kyle Curtis.
  • Lily Oliver.

Dragster competition winners include:

  • Zeke Koontz, first.
  • Kyla Blazek, second.
  • Kyle Curtis and Clayton Powell, top ten finalists.

Participants designed and produced a fast, carbon-dioxide (CO2)-powered dragster according to state specifications and used only certain materials.
