No, There Isn’t A New Netflix Show About Singer Ronnie Radke

Rock singer Ronnie Radke has had quite a life, and it wouldn’t be a shock to learn that someone had plans to make a TV series about him. It’s not going to be Netflix though; at least not right now.

Radke got the world buzzing last night when he promoted a fan-made screenshot for a faux docu-series called Ronnie Radke that featured a very real-looking Netflix interface to his Instagram stories. Radke even insinuated that the show was real, writing to his fans, “Who’s watching?”

The post was picked up by places like Reddit, where readers speculated as to whether or not the series was real, with astute fans noticing that the image Radke posted was watermarked with a Brazilian fan’s Instagram handle. A post on that fan’s page confirms that the documentary about Radke’s life was purely just a hypothetical, with the fan writing, “What if Ronnie Radke had his own documentary on Netflix….? Synopsis: Better known as “The King Of The Music Scene” Ronald Joseph Radke is an American singer, songwriter, musician and producer. He is the founder and current vocalist of the band Falling in Reverse. Follow his life trajectory and overcoming in this documentary.”

This isn’t the first time that fans have tried to convince the world that Radke’s life deserved to be documented on film. A Change.org petition was created two years ago with the intention of getting a movie made about his life. Radke, who now fronts the band Falling In Reverse, spent over two years in prison after a 2006 altercation left a young man dead. Radke was sentenced to five years probation, but was imprisoned after failing to make a meeting with his parole officer. After serving his time, his star has risen and Falling In Reverse is a regular on the annual Warped Tour lineup.
