Formolo track meet postponed

ENGADINE — The Frank Formolo Invitational track and field meet was postponed Tuesday due to incoming thunderstorms.

A Sault Ste. Marie middle school track and field meet was also postponed Tuesday due to incoming thunderstorms. 

Munoscong senior golf

PICKFORD — Al Kantola and Scout Hester tied for low gross with 42s on the opening day of the Munoscong Golf Club Senior League last week.

John Shoberg collected low net with 35, while Steve Porcaro was the low putts winner with 14. Among the specials, Paul Landini had the closest second shot to the hole on No. 1. Shoberg sank the longest putt on No. 8, while Dick Morrison hit the closest tee shot to the hole on No. 9.

Area seniors, ages 50 and older, are invited to join the League.  Each week play consists of 9 holes.
