Fire destroys building in Lemoore

LEMOORE, Calif. (KFSN) -- An overnight fire destroyed an abandoned building in Lemoore.

Firefighters were called to Iona Avenue near Fairway, just before 1:30 am on Wednesday.

Crews say the building had been abandoned for some time.

The flames quickly spread, also burning about an acre of grass around the building.

No one was hurt.

Crews are investigating what caused the fire.
