Greater Cleveland food truck guide 2022: What to eat and where to find them

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Food truck season is finally upon us.

The popular Walnut Wednesdays and Memorial Mondays food truck gatherings kicked off this week, and that means its prime season for food-truck dining in Greater Cleveland.

Hungry folks across the region are wondering where they can find their favorite truck. So, cleveland.com has prepared a guide to some of the region’s most popular trucks and events. Check out the highlights below.

Food Truck Events

Memorial Mondays: Huntington Park at West Third Street and Lakeside Avenue, Cleveland. 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Mondays through Aug. 29.

Pop-Up Food Trucks: Main Street at Crocker Park, 215 Crocker Park Blvd., Westlake. 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. select Tuesdays: May 17, June 7, July 12, Aug. 2, and Sept. 6.

Food Truck Tuesdays: Public Square. 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting May 17. Trucks will park along Rockwell Avenue. Live music will be featured. Ample outdoor seating.

Come out and enjoy the town in a fun, safe space where you can experience some of the best food and community MidTown has to offer at The Chomp every Tuesday at lunchtime during the summer.

The Chomp: Colonel Young Park at E. 46th and Prospect. Starts May 31, 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m..

Walnut Wednesday: Perk Plaza. 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sept. 7. Food trucks and live music. The park is located on East 12th between Walnut Ave and Chester Ave in Perk Plaza.

Wade Oval Wednesdays: Every Wednesday, June 15-August 17. A variety of bands will perform on Wade Oval’s outdoor stage. The free shows take place 5:30-8:30 p.m., and kid-friendly activities are also available to enjoy, along with food trucks and a beer and wine garden, according to a press release.

Food Truck Friday: A spokesman for the City of Cleveland’s Special Events Department said the decision as to whether the event will be held in 2022 is still to be determined. Check the Food Truck Friday Facebook page for updates.
