The Crawford County Board is set to meet at the County Annex at 6 PM Thursday.
On the agenda under new business, the board will look at approving an ordinance to opt out of Preferential Assessment for affordable housing and construction and rehabilitation. The board is also set to look at setting the Crawford County Sheriff’s salary and amend the resolution for the 2022 county maintenance budget. The county will also look at the approval of road work on a couple of stretches of county roads and approve a letter of agreement with Bellwether Budget Services for 2022-23 budget services.
Under reappointments, the county looks to reappoint James Livingston as the trustee of the prairie-licking fire protection district, as well as Bob Keller, and Jim Knollenberg as commissioners on the Greenbrier Drainage District. Finally, the board looks to approve the reappointment of Cris Harris to the Oblong Fire Protection District Trustee position. All four terms would end in 2025.
