Free at-home COVID-19 test kits are now available at eight county health departments in the area. That includes Bryan, Camden, Chatham, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long and McIntosh counties. The tests can be taken anywhere and work with or without symptoms. According to health officials, the tests can give results in just minutes, and do not have to be dropped off at a lab. Each person can receive up to 10 free tests. No insurance or ID checks are required.
