MCPHERSON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 12:30p.m. Tuesday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Robert D. Harrell, 43, Kansas City, Mo., was was eastbound on U.S. 56 at Limestone Road.
The van traveled left of center and struck a 2020 Volvo semi driven by Logan R. Donelson, 26, Lathrop, Mo., head-on.
Harrell was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. EMS transported Donelson to the hospital in McPherson.
The KHP had incomplete seat belt usage information.
