After less than two months on the market, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have sold their sprawling compound in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to the LA Times. The Maroon 5 musician and former Victoria's Secret Angel listed the property for $57.5 million, and though the final price of $51 million is a drop from that figure, it still represents a major increase from the $32 million they paid in 2018. The sellers on the end of that deal were Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner who’d lived there for just shy of a decade and parted ways with it the same year they divorced.
Designed by legendary California architect Cliff May and built in the 1930s, the 10 bedroom, 14 bathroom property has seen many renovations through the years and Levine and Prinsloo did indeed put their own touches on the space. The process of renovating and decorating is something they take pleasure in—according to Prinsloo, Levine particularly enjoys it. “Adam usually takes the driver’s seat in making design decisions,” the model explained to AD during a tour of the home last year. “He stays up all night looking at furniture and houses. He should be an interior designer himself.”

Despite its roots in the ‘30s, the space has a distinctly contemporary feeling, though it holds onto a bit of that original ranch-style bent, and the three full acres of landscaped land the home sits on certainly helps with that impression. Natural, subdued tones and materials are employed throughout the space, which Clements Design helped them overhaul, to bring that earthy feeling indoors. The sale is reportedly one of the biggest deals ever made in the Pacific Palisades area and the third most expensive home sale this year in all of Los Angeles.
