1 person dies of COVID-19, 3 deaths more than two weeks ago confirmed COVID-19 related in New Hampshire
One more person has died of COVID-19 in New Hampshire as cases surge in the state.
State health officials said the person who died was a Stafford County man who was over 60 years old.
Officials also confirmed three additional deaths relating to COVID-19 more than two weeks ago. There were two Rockingham County women who died, one over 80 years old, and another in her 70s. The death of a Strafford County woman in her seventies was also confirmed relating to COVID-19.
There have been 2,492 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in New Hampshire over the course of the pandemic.
According to the New Hampshire Hospital Association, the number of patients with COVID-19 rose to 97 on Monday from 91 on Tuesday. That figure includes any patient who tests positive for COVID-19. Twenty-four patients were being actively treated for COVID-19 Tuesday, increasing by three from Monday.
The number of current cases Monday has remained the same from Sunday, according to state health officials.
