A Grand Island man charged with murder facing an additional charge of threatening a corrections officer has had his case on the latter charge moved to district court.
According to Hall County Court records, on Monday, a judge moved the case against Donald Anthony, 34, to Hall County District Court. He is charged with one count of terroristic threats after he allegedly told a Hall County Corrections officer he would call fellow members of the Latin Kings Gang to come and kill the officer and his family.
Anthony is scheduled to appear in Hall County District Court for arraignment at 9 a.m. May 24.
Anthony has been in jail on charges of first-degree murder, use of a deadly weapon and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person. The charges stem from the Feb. 15 death of 30-year-old Said Abdullah Farah.
