An 84-year-old Clare man died in a head-on collision on Clare Avenue in Hatton Township Monday morning.
Clare County Sheriff’s Deputies say the man was driving a red Ford Ranger north in the southbound lane on Clare Avenue when he crashed head-on into a silver Ford pickup truck driven by a 45-year-old Sterling man.
Deputies say the 84-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sterling man was treated for injuries and released.
