Scott County Sheriff's Deputies Remain Vigilant - More Arrest Made after Poor Choices by Offenders

Scott County-Arrests continue to be made by Scott County Sheriff's Deputies as the push continues in the quest to make Scott County the safest place to live in America.

On May 5th, Robert Sadler, 40 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Fraud and Theft - Greater than $750.00, Less than $50,000.

 

On May 6th, the following arrests were made by Deputies;

Harley Fuson, 31 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested on Warrants for Escape and Failure to Comply for Possession of Methamphetamine.

 

Trista Broadus, 28 of Scottsburg IN was arrested on Warrants for Escape, Possession of a Narcotic Drug and Neglect of a Dependent (2 counts).

On May 7th, the following arrests were made by Deputies;

Bailey Jent, 23 of Jeffersonville, IN was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - Refusal, Resisting Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct, Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury, Operating While Intoxicated Endangering and Public Intoxication.

Tera Smith, 41 of Madison, IN was arrested for Possession of Scheduled or Controlled Substance with Enhanced Circumstances, Possession or Use of Legend Drug, Public Intoxication and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Justin Shasteen, 41 of Brownstown, IN was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Breaking and Entering hold for Jackson County Authorities.

 

Ima Pearson, 48 of Austin, IN was arrested for Invasion of Privacy.

On May 8th Michael Smith, 20 of Scottsburg, IN was arrested for Domestic Battery, Strangulation, Disorderly Conduct, and Interference with the Reporting of a Crime.

NOTE:  Not only are Deputies arresting the offenders on the street, our Deputy Jailers are offering services and classes to our inmates.  These services and classes provide a path for our inmates to get clean while simultaneously receiving much needed job skills training, their high school equivalency diploma, substance abuse treatment, spiritual involvement with numerous church groups and association with peer support groups such as Thrive.
