A Maine man is now in custody following a crash that happened Saturday night and resulted in the death of a motorcycle rider.

According to WABI TV 5, police are saying that alcohol was a likely factor in a crash that killed an Indian Township man on Saturday evening.

Lyons reportedly fled the scene of the crash on foot. A short while later, police located him near the wreck and were able to take him into custody, WABI reports.

Lyons was treated for injuries sustained during the crash and was subsequently charged with manslaughter and operating under the influence.
