World Wrestling Entertainment is returning to Central New York this summer.
The WWE will hold a “Sunday Stunner” event on July 24 at 7 p.m. at the Adirondack Bank Center on Sunday, July 24. It will be the WWE’s first show in Utica in three years, according to WKTV.
The event will feature an appearance by “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey, as well as matchups like Cody Rhodes vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch. The lineup also includes Drew Mcintyre, Sami Zayn, Bobby Lashley, intercontinental champion Ricochet and The New Day. All matchups are subject to change.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. via empirestatetix.com, at the Adirondack Bank Center Box Office, or by phone 315-790-9070.
WWE appeared in Syracuse last month for a “WWE Live” event at Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial with wrestling stars like Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens and Charlotte Flair.
