A 12-year-old boy is hospitalized with a severe head injury after falling off an ATV.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the boy was driving the ATV Monday when he somehow fell off near SW 147th Avenue.
The 12-year-old was taken to UF Health Gainesville, where he is listed in critical condition.

He had a 10-year-old passenger.
That child wasn’t hurt.
Both boys are from the Brooker area.
