CHARGES. PATRICK: OFFICIALS IN UNION COUNTY, SAID A FIRE BROKE OUT INSIDE ETH STANDARD TEXTILE PLANT. THE PLANT IS LOCATED ON GHHI POINT DRIVE. OFFICIALS TELL US, THE FIRE WAS REPORTED JUST BEFORE 9:00 LAST NIGHT, AND ALL 10 FIRE DEPARTMENTS IN THE COUYNT RESPONDED TTOHE SCENE. AUTHORITIES SAID A MACNEHI INSIDE THE PLANT CAUGHT FI.RE JUST BEFORE 11:00 LAST NIGHT, DISPATCHERS SAID THE FIRWASE UNDER CONTL.RO NO WORD ON ANY INJURIES.

Firefighters responded to a plant fire in Union County Monday night, according to Union County dispatch.The fire broke out just before 9 p.m. at the Standard Textile on Highpoint Drive, dispatch said.According to dispatch, a machine inside the plant caught fire.All 10 fire departments in Union County responded to the plant.Just before 11 p.m. dispatch confirmed the fire was under control.According to the company's website, for 80 years Standard Textile has developed a culture of innovation, quality, and service, earning more than 80 patents for products engineered to deliver durability, longevity and value.
