WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Beaverhead, Madison, and Gallatin Counties through 9 AM Monday. Snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches across lower elevations, 3 to 6 inches on mountain passes, and 6 to 10 inches above pass levels.
Scattered showers continue this afternoon across western Montana, with a chance for a weak isolated thunderstorm or two.
A wintry mix of rain and snow will fall across southwest Montana through Monday morning. Snow will likely impact portions of I-90 from Butte to Bozeman Pass and portions of I-15 from Butte to Monida Pass, along with many other state highways in Beaverhead, Madison and Gallatin counties. Light accumulations of snow will be possible for valley locations, mainly just on grassy surfaces. Remind your mom to bring her plants in because Monday morning lows will be in the 20s.
Off and on showers will continue through mid week. Temperatures will stay below normal until the second half of the week as a warming and drying pattern will settle in.
