Nashville, Tenn. (May 7, 2022) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has recalled forward Cody Glass from Milwaukee (AHL).

Glass, 23 (4/1/99), had 14 goals, 48 assists and 62 points in 66 games with the Admirals this season, his third as a pro. The 6-foot-3, 206-pound center ranked among the AHL's leaders in assists (fifth) and points (tied for 15th) and was as Milwaukee's team leader in both categories. His 62 points are the most by an Admirals skater since 2011-12; his 48 assists were the most since Cal O'Reilly's 56 in 2008-09. At the NHL level, Glass appeared in eight games for the Predators, averaging 11:25 of ice time and registering his first point with the organization on April 16 vs. Chicago (1a).
Originally drafted by Vegas in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft, Glass was acquired by Nashville on July 17, 2021 and made the Predators' opening night roster. Since making his League debut in October 2019 with the Golden Knights, Glass has appeared in 74 NHL games, tallying 23 points (9g-14a); he has also suited up for 88 career AHL games with Milwaukee, Henderson and Chicago, recording 79 points (22g-57a). He turned pro in the 2018-19 season following a decorated four-season career with the WHL's Portland Winterhawks which saw him amass 292 points (94g-198a) in 239 games, earning WHL West First-Team All-Star selection on three occasions. The Winnipeg, Man., native also represented his country at the 2019 World Junior Championship, being named one of Canada's three best players.
