Stanford offers 4-star wide receiver Mike Matthews

Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview four-star wide receiver Mike Matthews has picked up an offer from Stanford.

He is the No. 65 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Matthews is also the No. 65 prospect in the 2024 On300 ranking, where he also slots in as the No. 10 wide receiver and No. 12 player from the state of Georgia.

“A lot of programs talk to me about football and basketball, but I’m pretty much in it with football,” Matthews told On3. “Basketball has always been a home to me. I’m pretty sure I’ll end up playing football.”

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $77k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
