It's cute that some people in Calgary think they can throw John Klingberg off his game with a few well-placed hits or a chorus of boos when he touches the puck.
Adorable, really.

I mean we're talking about a 29-year-old defenseman who has spent a good part of the past year trying to negotiate a contract extension and could have to test the market this summer as an unrestricted free agent. Klingberg, who's scheduled to marry his long-time sweetheart Fanny Hammarstrand (who's expecting their second child) this summer. Klingberg, who still has to figure out where he and his family might live next year.
You know, that guy.
"It was great, it boosted my confidence," Klingberg said of playing the role of the villain at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

'It's going to be great to get out there'

He was hit several times, got into a fight and received a game misconduct in Game 1. He helped set up the Stars' game-winning goal in Game 2. He was his same old solid self.
"It didn't bother him," Stars coach Rick Bowness said. "I think he knew they were going to challenge him."
Bowness has been behind the bench for more games (as an assistant and head coach) than any coach in NHL history. He's coached some of the best defensemen in the league, including Tampa Bay's Victor Hedman, and he's always been complimentary of what he's seen from Klingberg.
