Gov. Justice declares State of Emergency in 3 counties; State of Preparedness remains in all counties

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) — Gov. Jim Justice declared a State of Emergency for Cabell, Putnam and Roane counties after the heavy rainfall and flooding on May 6.

According to a press release, the State of Preparedness for all West Virginia counties is still in effect. The State of Emergency will remain in effect for 30 days unless it is stopped by another Proclamation.
