This week's adoptable pet with the CNY SPCA is Igor. The 8-year-old cat was adopted at the CNY SPCA as a kitten but was recently made his way back to the shelter.

Humane educator Dee Schaefer says he is the "biggest love bug" and "very active." She believes Igor will fit into any home that will welcome him.

The "Every Animal Has Its Day" golf tournament is coming up. The shelter is hosting the event on July 23rd at the Pompey Club. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. The event gets underway at 1:00 p.m. Lunch and a steak dinner are included.

There is also a craft night on May 20th. The event is $55. All proceeds will benefit the shelter animals.
