It is no surprise to see the Golden State Warriors back near the top of the NBA after getting healthy. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are in the backcourt and the team is back to its winning ways.
The Warriors are currently in the Western Conference Semifinals fighting for a championship once again. The front office could be looking ahead to the offseason while Steve Kerr and the team handle business on the floor. If this is the case, Andrew Wiggins could be a point of emphasis.
Since receiving a contract extension, there has not been as positive value surrounding Wiggins as there is right now. He earned his first All-Star selection this season and was able to start the game. He averaged 17.2 points per game while shooting 39.3% from three-point range.
Wiggins fell off a bit in the second half but continued to make an impact for a talented Warriors team. He provided an extra spark to the lineup along the perimeter.

Sometimes, a career can come full circle. If a deal for Wiggins is made with the Sacramento Kings, Harrison Barnes might be able to return to where it all started.
Barnes is just 29 years old, despite the feeling that he is older. This is because he has been around for a decade and has produced for many teams at a high level.

Barnes has continued to improve his offensive game in Sacramento but it does not seem like he is a long-term piece for a rebuilding team. Given his current contract situation as well, Barnes could be a trade piece this offseason after surviving the deadline.
Let’s look at what a hypothetical NBA trade scenario could look like involving the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.
