SAN FRANCISCO — Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins wanted to get a couple looks at Steven Adams before declaring him ready to play after missing the past three games due to health and safety protocols.

Adams passed the eye test and Jenkins said he'll be active for Game 3 on Saturday night vs. the Warriors.

"I'll figure out the rotations in the next 24-plus hours," Jenkins said. "He's trending in a good direction, he's getting his wind back, doing Steven things out there. Got a lot of confidence that if we put him in the lineup that he'll go out there and be successful."

Having too much depth is always a good problem, and now that's what Jenkins faces. Adams, Jaren Jackson Jr., Kyle Anderson and Brandon Clarke got most of the minutes as the four-man big rotation towards the end of the season. However, Xavier Tillman Sr. emerged in Game 2 vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, and he's also started the first two games against the Warriors.

Jenkins has not made a lineup choice yet, but it's unlikely that their will be enough minutes for all five players unless someone is in foul trouble. He'll evaluate the key factors before the game.

"Obviously, chemistry at the end of the day," Jenkins said. "We want to get off to good starts, but then we got to play the meat of the game and finish well, too."
