U.S. Rep. Kweisi Mfume said he would{ }quarantine for the next several days.
BALTIMORE (WBFF) —
U.S. Rep. Kweisi Mfume announced Friday that he tested positive for COVID-19 but is not experiencing any symptoms.

"I am fully vaccinated, boosted, and thankful for the robust protection the vaccine has provided," the 73-year-old Mfume said on Twitter.
Mfume said he was following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and will quarantine himself for the next several days.
Mfume represents Maryland's Seventh District in Congress, which covers parts of Baltimore City and Baltimore and Howard counties.
Mfume is the latest federal official to contract COVID-19. Several lawmakers, including Vice President Kamala Harris, have recently had mild cases of the disease.
