The big winners of the 58th Baeksang Awards were the film Kingmaker, the drama, D.P. and actors Lee Jun-ho and Kim Tae-Ri.
Kingmaker won three awards, including best actor, best director and best supporting actor. The Netflix drama D.P. also won three awards. It won best drama, best new actor and best supporting actor.
2PM member and actor Lee Jun-ho won two awards, best actor and most popular actor for his performance in the MBC drama The Red Sleeve. Kim Tae-ri also won two awards. For her role in the TV drama Twenty-five Twenty One she won a best actress award and a most popular actress award.
Squid Game won three awards, including the Daesang or Grand Prize. The award for best drama director went to Hwang Dong-hyuk and he also accepted an award for Jung Jae-il, who won for best technical achievement in television award for Squid Game.
Escape from Mogadishu also won three awards: best film, best technical achievement award and a Daesang Award accepted by director Ryu Seung-wan.

The best supporting actress in drama award went to Kim Shin-rok for the Netflix program Hellbound.
Best supporting actor in a drama went to Cho Hyun-jul for D.P.
Best new actor honors went to Koo Kyo-hwan for his role in the military drama D.P.
The award for best new actress in a TV show went to Kim Hye-joon for the JTBC show Inspector Koo.
The award for best actor in a film went to Sol Kyung-gu for Kingmaker.
The award for best actress in a film was presented to Lee Hye-young for In Front Of Your Face.

The award for best new film director went to actress/director Jo Eun-ji for Perhaps Love.

The dance survival program Street Fighter won the prize for best TV entertainment show.
The 58th Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony, organized by Ilgan Sports and JTBC Plus, took place on May 6, 2022, at KINTEX, Ilsanseo-gu, Gyeonggi Province. This year’s ceremony was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Bae Suzy and Park Bo-gum. The ceremony honors dramas, shows and films that aired or were released between April 12, 2021 and March 31, 2022.
