Everton faces Leicester City on Saturday with the aim of maintaining the decent form that has seen them pick seven points in the last four games. However, the game is at King Power stadium and the Toffees have an abysmal away record this season, picking just six points from 16 away trips.

Frank Lampard’s side will be booming with confidence after an emphatic win against Chelsea, an outstanding performance that surely rattled the Blues from London. Everton’s win over Chelsea gave them much needed boost in the relegation battle as they now sit two points behind 17th place Leeds United.

Everton still have to navigate through some injury issues and take care of players who have just returned from injuries. Yerry Mina missed the Liverpool game but was in top notch form against Thomas Tuchel’s men. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also said to be struggling as he could just make the bench in the last game after missing the previous two games.

Tom Davies also returned to the squad and should be available for selection after being out of action since December. However, there are some concerns for Lampard going into the game against Leicester City.

Everton will be without Ben Godfrey as he continues to recover from the injury he suffered before the Liverpool tie. The Toffees will also be without Donny van de Beek for the Leicester tie. When questioned about players available for the game, Lampard insisted that he will have the same squad.

"“No changes from last weekend for us. Pretty good week of recovery for the lads. A couple of little niggles, but hopefully we’ll be the same as we were” (via the club’s official YouTube channel)"

In the later stages of the Chelsea game, goalscorer Richarlison appeared to have a problem which eventually forced him to come off 10 minutes before the final whistle. When asked about the condition of Richarlison, Lampard insisted that the Brazilian should be fine and available for the weekend tie. However, he ruled out the availability of Van de Beek and Godfrey. Meanwhile, midfielder Andre Gomes does return after missing the last two games.

"“Yeah. Richy’s [Richarlison] got a bit of a sore ankle from the ankle he twisted at Liverpool, that sort of been around since then, hopefully, he’ll be fine. Andre [Gomes] is back in the squad for selection, Donny’s [Van de Beek] not. Ben Godfrey is not fit. Hopefully, he’ll be training with us next week.”"

The return of Gomes allows Lampard some more freedom to make changes if required meanwhile Richarlison being fit despite the sore ankle will be a big boost to the side as he remains the talisman in the attack.
